Fortunately, this is super easy to do. You'll need a small Philips PH00 screwdriver and a fresh CR2025 coin battery. The battery holder is located underneath the black plastic plate on the underside of the camera. Turn the camera over, then remove these 9 screws (4 of them will be underneath the battery door). All of the screws are identical, so you don't have to worry about keeping them organized. {{ d770batt1.jpg?400 }} Gently pull up on the battery door to pull the plate off of the camera and reveal the clock battery. You shouldn't need to use too much force here. Remove the dead clock battery from the holder and replace it with a fresh CR2025. {{ d770batt2.jpg?400 }} You can now reinstall the plate and put all the screws back in. __**When tightening the screws, use as little torque as possible!**__ These are self-tapping screws and the plastic that they're threading into is extremely thin and brittle. It __will__ crack if the screws are over-tightened. Once the plate is back on, you can turn on the camera and set the date and time. It'll show "Err13" when you turn it on for the first time, but the error will go away after you've set the clock.
